This policy explains how InvoiceGenius handles information used to turn field notes into reviewed invoice drafts and payable invoice links.
Information We Collect
InvoiceGenius collects the account, business, customer, job, invoice, recording, uploaded file, and support information needed to provide the service. This can include names, email addresses, business details, customer contact details, work descriptions, line items, prices, taxes, notes, and payment status.
Voice Recordings and Uploaded Content
When you record a job note or upload content, InvoiceGenius processes that content to transcribe it and create an invoice draft. You should only record or upload information that you have the right to process for your business.
How We Use Information
We use information to create and manage invoice drafts, customer records, shared invoice pages, payment links, subscriptions, account access, product support, abuse prevention, service reliability, and product improvement.
AI Processing
InvoiceGenius uses AI services to transcribe voice notes and turn job details into invoice drafts. AI-generated invoices are drafts and should be reviewed before sending to a customer or collecting payment.
Payments and Subscriptions
Customer payment processing and subscription billing may be handled by payment providers such as Stripe, RevenueCat, Apple, or Google. Those providers process payment information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Sharing
We share information with service providers that help operate InvoiceGenius, including hosting, authentication, database, AI, email, payment, subscription, and support providers. We do not sell personal information.
Retention
We keep account, invoice, customer, recording, and support information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, and support business records. Signed-in users can delete their account from the app profile screen. Some payment, subscription, tax, fraud-prevention, or legal records may be retained only when required.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information. No internet service can guarantee perfect security, so you should avoid recording or uploading unnecessary sensitive information.
Your Choices
You can choose what job details to record, edit invoice drafts before sending, manage subscription settings through the platform where you purchased, delete your account in the app, and request account or data assistance by contacting support.
Children
InvoiceGenius is intended for business use and is not directed to children.
